Can You Keep a Secret? is the 27th episode out of 30 episodes of Season 2 of the Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie, and the fifty-third episode overall.
Episode Summary[]
P.J.'s birthday is coming up and he'll be 18. The family is told they need to buy him a present, especially Gabe, who cannot steal or borrow one. Despite Gabe insisting he never stole a gift, Teddy points out he gave PJ one of his shirts, despite Gabe insisting PJ liked it. Since Emmett quit his job as the frog at Super Adventure Land, Spencer has replaced him. Teddy becomes nervous when she has to kiss him. When they kiss, Teddy's feelings for Spencer start to come back, but she runs off on stage out of anxiety and nervousness after the kiss. Later, Spencer comes to ask her if she is okay, and Teddy expresses that her feelings for Spencer have come back. Spencer tells Teddy that cheating and hurting her was the worst thing he ever did, as he asked her for another chance. Realizing that Spencer is truly sorry, Teddy finally forgives him, and they kiss again, as they get back together. Unfortunately, she's afraid of telling Amy and Bob this because; they bought her a new car and also what had happened LAST time Spencer and Teddy broke up. She tells them that she is really happy now, so they agree; making her pay for the car but also welcome back Spencer, on condition that he will not break her heart again.
Meanwhile, PJ is hoping to go to Mexico with his Spanish Class (he joined mainly for the trip and the girls), he does need his passport and birth certificate for the trip. While Amy is hesitant, she agrees to get his birth certificate but immediately calls up Bob. As it turns out, there was a part of PJ's birth certificate that his parents never mentioned. They try to come up with ways for PJ to not find out, they first tell PJ and Emmet (who also joined) they can't afford to pay for his trip. However, Emmet points out the trip is paid for as the club has been doing fundraisers all year. He soon finds out why his parents were hesitant to have PJ go, Bob accidentally wrote his name incorrectly on his birth certificate. Instead of saying "Patrick John Duncan", (PJ for short) it says "Potty John". Meanwhile, Gabe has been collecting aluminum cans to sell but Bob says that the state of Colorado doesn't give you money for aluminum cans. He tries to get money for the Z-Cube 6, a new game system with 3D graphics. In the end though, Gabe uses his saved up money to buy PJ a new guitar for his birthday since the Z-Cube 7 is coming out soon.
