Double Whammy is the 4th episode in Season 1 of Good Luck Charlie.
Overview[]
Amy reveals that she was Whammy the Ram, the mascot of Teddy's high school, and pressures her into trying out for the role too. Teddy tries to blow the audition but gets the role anyway, just in time for the big rivalry game. Meanwhile, PJ challenges his best friend Emmett to baby-race his nephew against Charlie.
Episode Summary[]
Amy convinces Teddy to audition to be the school's unlucky ram mascot Whammy, due to Amy being Whammy when she was Teddy's age. Teddy doesn't want to be Whammy, so she tries to throw the tryout. Unfortunately for Teddy, she's the only person who actually tries out, so she gets the job by default. Her mom is excited but Teddy reveals that she never wanted to be Whammy in the first place during a huge outburst. Amy is dismayed and decides to fill in for Teddy, but when rival school, North High School, kidnaps Amy, thinking she was Teddy, she attacks them and goes back to the game, where Teddy is being attacked by North High's Viking mascot. Amy attacks the Viking and Teddy and Amy take down the Viking.
Meanwhile, PJ worries that he might become bald like Bob when he gets older. Later, he challenges Emmett to a baby race with his nephew Mason Heglin against Charlie. Charlie wins the race against Emmett's nephew. In this episode, Charlie takes her first steps.
End Credits[]
PJ dreams that Teddy calls him to get ready for school. When he passes a mirror, he sees that he is Bob. PJ screams and pulls out 'hair'. This might've occurred because PJ thinks that when he gets older, he will look just like Bob. Then PJ wakes up, and Bob gives him his first baseball cap that his father gave him.
