Plot[]
Teddy hosts a sleepover (with Vonnie and Kelsey) at PJ's apartment in an attempt to forget about her anniversary with Spencer, while PJ and Emmett take care of their neighbor's pet rats while he is away. Meanwhile, after Vern quits his extermination job atBob's Bugs Be Gone, Bob hesitantly agrees to give an inexperienced teenager, named Beau, a chance to fill the position.
While in their neighbor's apartment, PJ and Emmett attempt to race the two rodents, named Peanut Butter and Jelly, accidentally setting them free. Jelly is caught (winning the race for Emmett), but Peanut Butter escapes, and eventually comes upon the sleeping Teddy and company.
Elsewhere, Amy and Mrs. Dabney use Gabe and Lauren's new-found relationship to their advantage by manipulating the teens into doing housework. The young couple quickly discovers the plot and seek revenge. Both Gabe and Lauren tell Amy and Mrs. Dabney, respectively, that they have broken up. This news makes Amy and Estelle feel guilty for letting their selfish agendas ruin a young relationship. Reacting to this guilt, Amy and Mrs. Dabney proceed to do whatever Gabe and Lauren ask of them. Gabe and Lauren's plan goes undetected until the filming of Teddy's video diary, where she reveals to Amy that the two were seen holding hands. Amy swears revenge.
Back at the apartment, Bob and his relentless new protégé, Beau, arrive to capture the rat, as Teddy and her friends retreat into the bathroom. In order to avoid killing the pet, Beau easily lures Peanut Butter by setting a spoonful of the rat's namesake on the floor. Beau meets the girls as they emerge, but seems to be in awe when he sees Teddy, giving her "the look." Teddy seems to share these feelings, hinting at a possible romantic development between the two characters.
